As a clinic of wellness, we are committed to addressing the impacts of trauma on human functioning.

We believe that trauma is pervasive in the human experience.  We cannot escape its impact and if not addressed, trauma can and will permeate in the world around us – this can include our work, professional life, relationships and physical health.

How do we avoid it – We don’t.  We charge through it, move around it, and rise above it!

At Oregon Change Clinic (OCC), We strive to help Individuals, Organizations and Communities reduce and/or eliminate re-traumatization occurring in their environment through proven therapies, using the research of thousands, advanced workshops and  whole person wellness.

  • Mental Health Therapy: Mental health is an important component of overall human functioning. For those suffering from emotional difficulties, Oregon Change Clinic provides compassionate mental health services using psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative therapy. During your treatment sessions with us, you will participate in Feedback Informed Treatment. This allows Oregon Change Clinic to tailor its’ treatment in a more individualized person-centered format. This is the basis of culturally specific programming. Our treatment programs are conveniently offered during weekday, weeknights and virtually. Our careful assessment process will determine the best programming fit to meet your needs.

  • Culturally Specific Services: Oregon Change Clinic (OCC) offers culturally specific services created by African Americans for African American communities with an emphasis on the voices and experiences of survivors of racism and trauma. Our treatment facilitation is guided with the current needs, history and culture of African Americans in a treatment environment.  OCC uses a trauma-informed approach and sensitivity in case management, medication, group counseling, individual counseling, skills training as well as health and wellness.

  • Military Veterans: As a veteran owned clinic we value and appreciate the commitment to service of all United States military veterans. We understand the unique nature of military related trauma.  Please call to discuss our reduced treatment rates and specialized programs.

  • TMS Therapy: While antidepressant medications help many with depression, some people experience no benefits or cannot tolerate the side effects. Fortunately, alternative treatment for depression is available. One alternative therapy is transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Transcranial magnetic stimulation, often referred to as TMS is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression.

  • Trainings & Workshops: Include topics on organizational trauma, neuroscience of addiction, impacts of racism, and nutrition.
